This July I'll be giving a writing course on the island of Skyros in Greece. (Yes, the one where Rupert Brooke died, but that was, I'm assured, a coincidence.) Two weeks, from 4-18 July, of writing and yoga, with optional dance, windsurfing and (I'm just guessing here) sunbathing, retsina and stuffed vine leaves. I'll be teaching a course called A Sense of Place, about how to turn your favourite place into a book, or books – so far I've managed to squeeze quite a few out of France, so I hope I know what I'm talking about.
